This is the updated version of this pin with slightly larger pips and bevelled edges. I think it looks much more authentic now.
Now’s your chance to own a hard enamel pin based on the Empire’s uniform. Specifically, this is an homage to Grand Moff Tarkin’s rank in the original Star Wars movie.
The pin is 2.5″ long with two pins on the back. Each pin comes with metal clamps for the back (not just rubber stubs). They come shipped on a 3″ card with original artwork.
Aside from looking awesome, this pin is a great way to weed out the hardcore fans from everybody else. Last night I opened the door for a stranger who gave me a smile and quickly said “You may fire when ready.” as they walked by. I gotta say, I don’t think I would have even recognized it that quickly, and they were probably the 5th or 6th person who had seen me wearing it.
