The Matrix: Short Tutorial And History

Last week I was invited to a private screening of The Matrix on a big-ass Dolby theater screen here in SF. One of my all time favorite movies and it still looks great. I’ve been obsessed with it ever since and was inspired to create a short video teaching The Matrix.

The Matrix was one of my first tricks to catch on in a big way. I found it in late 1999 a few days before I created Skin The Gerbil. If you want to learn more about the Matrix and Alpha Flow, check out this longer video:

SF Yo-Yo Club this Saturday, August 8th

The San Francisco Yo-Yo Club is coming up on this Saturday, August 8th from 2-5pm at Mission Playground Park, and I hope to see you there! Please note this is a different location than we usually have, but it’s only a block or two from the regular location. There’s not much shade, so bring sunscreen if you need it.

This event is open to everyone and happens on the second Saturday of each month at 826 Valencia (usually). It’s free to attend and all ages. See you then!

Our next-next yo-yo club will be on September 12th.
