Description
Cerakote is a specialized coating that can be applied to wood, polymers, metals, and plastics that is composed of a polymer-ceramic compound. This batch of Weekender yo-yos have been anodized clear, then painted with a bright green Cerakote layer, before being painted again with a bright green neon layer. The end result gives the yo-yo an unusual look, where it is pink at some places, and green at others. The cerakote finish also adds a little weight (about 1 gram more than usual), and a matte feel. I’ve been playing with my cerakote Weekender for 10 days and the finish seems to hold up really well.
The Weekender is an ultralight modern responsive yo-yo manufactured in Eugene, OR. A brand new style of yo-yo inspired by old school play.
